About
Compose une ville sonore
Young people from Namur, come and listen, collect and recreate the cacophonic sounds of your city. Inspired by Florian Dussopt's Sonic Jungle, the workshop "Compose une ville sonore" invites children to be attentive to their immediate sound environment. Step by step, using easy-to-use beatmaking software, participants break down the sounds of the urban jungle around them and reassemble them into a collective creation of a spatialized rhythmic sound landscape captured using a binaural microphone that allows them to feel the movement of different sound elements in space. Alone or in a group, come and listen, collect and recreate the cacophonic sounds of the city and create your first collective sound installation! The workshop was designed by Jurian Strik with the help of the Cinekid festival team. This workshop was produced by Les Voyages de Capitaine Futur & Creative Europe.
